The Burger Wedding at the Cinema in Orangeburg

Madison and Jacob had a beautiful wedding in Orangeburg at St. Andrews United Methodist with the reception at The Cinema. We took their engagements in downtown Charleston on a perfect day and made plenty of amazing images. We did Madison's bridals in Edisto Gardens for my first session there, and it was fantastic!

I've photographed hundreds of weddings, and everything has always gone according to plan. Unfortunately, early in the day, I received a call with horrible news. For the first time ever, I had to leave a wedding. Luckily, Melissa was already there as a second shooter. And I called another photographer friend (and past client) Jenna to come fill in. The video team was also present, and the day continued on without me. I hate that I ruined my perfect track record, but I decided not to hide from it, and instead brag about how well our team performed under the circumstances. The photography and videography was still amazing, and I was able to give quite a few upgrades/discounts in an effort to apologize for the situation. I suppose it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. And hopefully it will be a very, very long time before something like this happens again. But I truly believe my team and I are fully prepared for even the worst of scenarios.

I wish I had more I could say about the wedding, but I wasn't there. But the pictures and video tell a beautiful story. And I could truly see the bond that Madison and Jacob share. I know that you will look forward to a lifetime of happiness together, and I wish you the best!
